Stephanie's nickname was Fephie. She was never a Mom in the blood sense of the word, but she was like a second Mom to all of her best friends children. She was one of the sweetest, most caring people you could ever meet. She never had anything bad to say about anyone, and she was a beautiful person. My Mom Stacy and her used to hang out every night after Steph got off work, and we all always hung out on the weekends. We used to have barbeques for our birthdays and it was a lot of fun. She could always put a smile on people's face, and she shone from within. Thats just the kind of person she was. She went to Heaven with my brother Nicky. She passed away in Birmingham, Alabama.
"My Normal Now"
My normal without an Aunt is something that can never be reversed.
My normal now is dying a slow death when special occasions come to pass I can never share with her.
My normal now is wishing she was here, but knowing I'm being foolish, for it cannot be done.
My normal now is crying as silent as I can, hoping if I'm not loud the pain can ease a bit.
My normal without her is a bit more dull, like its lacking something.
My normal now is missing her smile, and the way she shone as every beautiful person does.
My normal now is reflecting on the advice she gave me, and aching because she can give me no more.
My normal now is being in a place that has no memories of her, and wishing I had at least that to cling to like a safety net.
My normal now is missing an Angel that walked on Earth.
